Where 30071 identifies installation process -> it will be different. Not sure why it didn't work when pushing through ERA, but glad it's working. Just for laughs, I uninstalled ESET Endpoint Antivirus and reinstalled it using a local installer, and it now opens and appears to be working correctly. When I checked the Mac, I saw the ESET Endpoint Antivirus icon was in the applications folder, but when I tried to open it, I received the same message about it not being compatible. Where 30071 identifies installation process -> it will be - I tried pushing ESET Endpoint Antivirus v6 using ESET Remote Admin and the task failed. Installer: ESET Endpoint Antivirus Installation Log May I ask you for installation log of failed and possibly also successful (manual) installation? Installer log is located in /var/log/install.log and relevant entries should start with something like: Let me know if you need further information or if you'd like me to try anything else.
Thank - I tried pushing ESET Endpoint Antivirus v6 using ESET Remote Admin and the task failed.
After opening the EAV failed, I used the local installer to uninstall and then reinstall and it worked.
OS X SERVER APP 10.11 MAC
When that task failed, I then checked the Mac and saw the EAV icon in the applications folder.
OS X SERVER APP 10.11 INSTALL
I eventually tried installing EES v6.1.16.0 using a local installer and immediately saw the compatibility error message before the installer even started the install.Īfter your suggestion to try EAV, I tried another Software Install task and chose EAV v6.1.16.0. I specifically chose the Mac version of EES v6.1.16.0 for the Software Install task.
I originally tried pushing EES using a Software Install task from ERA.
Hard to say if there were any remnants from previous attempts to install EES. Is there any chance there were remnants of previous attempts to install ESET Endpoint Security on this machine? Could you provide some details about ERA task you used? Especially what package have you selected (version, language) - there is chance something is wrong on our servers and it may have been installing wrong product. I tried pushing ESET Endpoint Antivirus v6 using ESET Remote Admin and the task failed.
